Wayne is currently the Executive Director at the Construction Employers Coordinating Council of Ontario, a position he’s held since 2017. He began his career as a sheet metal worker in 1969. From there he worked his way up within the industry to eventually become the Executive Director of the Ontario Sheet Metal Contractors Association in 1998.

Wayne has over 50 years of experience within the industry and attributes his passion for the industry to the amazing people he’s met over the course of his career in construction. Wayne has sat on the OCS Board since 2012, but he also sits on several other organizations’ Board of Directors, including the IHSA Joint Sheet Metal Health and Safety Committee and the MTCU Industry Expert Sheet Metal Apprenticeship Committee.

Wayne is married with two sons, and in his free time enjoys kayaking and hiking with family and friends.
